Description

The Teka HL 940 is a new HyrdoClean oven offering a special steam cleaning function. A true 90cm multi-function electric wall oven allows you to choose from 10 different cooking processes including fan forced and maxi-grill. Pop-out control knobs are located on the right hand side with a touch control operated electronic clock and timer located directly above. Opening the triple glazed door gives you access to a spacious 88 litre internal cavity which is coated in high resistant Crystal Clean enamel with chrome tray guides and two telescopic racks. Teka's HL 940 also comes with an extra large baking tray, roasting tray and chrome roasting rack with dual internal lights to help you keep an eye on how delicious you food is looking!

For a big oven this looks really nice, clean lines and a modern look. Has this cool touch control clock and timer function as well as two manual controls that pop in and out to select the temp and type of cooking. It’s easy to clean as it uses a steam self cleaning selection which steams up the chamber when you put some water in the base of the oven and then I just wipe it off. Pulling the trays and side racks out when you use the steam cleaning is not that big a deal especially when it saves you doing it with toxic sprays and you spend hours scrubbing. Cooking is even and the slideout trays are a gem to use.

I have now installed my Teka 90cm oven and been using it for two months. I do cook a lot and have had big ovens in the past. Whilst this is not the biggest inside that I have used its layout and use of space makes it far more usable. The full extension racks work a treat. You can tell by using it it is quality. The cooking is even from top to bottom and back to front. Don't need to move food around. Have given it a couple of cleans with the steam clean just to keep it clean and it works really well. Easy to wipe clean and put the racks back in. Fantastic and glad I chose it.
